Continuum Now Integrates with Maximizer. The Meeting Write-Up Is No Longer the Bottleneck.
Meeting summaries, action items, and follow-up tasks push from Continuum into the matching Maximizer contact. No bot on the call, and no client conversation left to memory.
Getting a meeting into the client record has always come down to someone finding the time. Notes get written up between appointments or during a Friday afternoon catch-up session while trying to close out the week. It works, unevenly. The detail that mattered most gets compressed, the call that ran long never gets logged at all, and the record ends up reflecting how busy that week was more than what was actually said.
Starting today, the record stops depending on that.
Meeting capture that doesn't change the meeting
Most AI notetakers need a seat at the table. They join the call as a participant and sit there for the duration, which means they only reach the meetings a bot can be invited to. Everything else runs on a different tool, or on whatever the advisor remembers afterward.
The cost runs deeper than logistics. A bot in the attendee list tells the client that a third party they never chose is sitting in on the conversation. What follows is a more guarded and less intimate conversation than what came before.
Continuum captures from the advisor's own device. No participant is added and nothing appears in the attendee list, so a quarterly review reaches the record the same way whether it happened on a Zoom call, over the phone, or at a kitchen table. Clients still know their advisor is taking notes. What changes is that the notes no longer require a stranger in the conversation.
From the room to the record
When the meeting ends, the advisor reviews the summary and pushes it to Maximizer. It posts to the matching contact as a note with the meeting date, time, and attendees attached. Action items arrive as Hotlist tasks carrying their due dates and assignees. Contacts sync the other way, imported from Maximizer and kept current automatically. Nothing gets retyped, and the write-up that usually waits until the end of the day doesn’t have to happen at all.
Summaries organize themselves by default. For the meetings that repeat, a template sets the shape and keeps it. Templates take seconds to build, attach automatically to a meeting type so every portfolio review comes back the same way, and share across the organization in a click.
What the record does with it
Continuum handles the conversation. Maximizer is where it joins everything else you already know about that client.
By the time a meeting summary arrives, the file is not sitting empty. Appointments, emails, and tasks sync with Outlook. KYC dates, household relationships, policies, and custom fields are already on the record. Detailed meeting notes make the record all the richer while Maximizer’s AI tool, IQ Boost, enables you to ask virtually anything about any client.
A follow-up clients come back to
Pages turn meetings into branded, interactive deliverables clients can explore and understand. Clear next steps and outstanding items, the documents that go with them, and instant answers from an embedded AI grounded in the actual conversations. Every Page is restricted to the client's verified email, and every view is logged. Pages don't get sent and forgotten; clients come back to them. And because an advisor sees what was opened and what was asked about, they finally know what happens after they hit send.
Two Canadian companies, one client record
Client data stays in Canada on both sides of this integration. Continuum is SOC 2 Type 2 certified, PIPEDA-compliant, and Canadian data resident. Maximizer is SOC 2 Type 2 certified and hosts in Canada as well. Continuum stores no audio and never uses client data to train AI models. And because every conversation reaches the record the same way, documentation stops being something anyone assembles retroactively.
Gabe Karkanis, Sr. Director of Product at Maximizer said: “My favourite part is how little there is to do. You finish the meeting, hit one button, and the conversation shows up on that client's record in Maximizer, nothing retyped, nothing tidied up after the fact. From there it just becomes part of what IQ Boost knows about the client. It feeds the timeline summary, it feeds your prep before the next review, and when you're trying to remember what you actually committed to in the spring, you ask and it's there. Every conversation you send over makes the file smarter. Real client data is where this really comes alive."
The integration is live today and available to every Continuum subscriber. Connect it from Settings in a few easy steps: help.oncontinuum.com/managing/maximizer. Maximizer users new to Continuum can get started at oncontinuum.com.
Both teams are co-hosting a webinar on Thursday, October 1, featuring a live walkthrough of the integration and time for questions. Registration is open now.
